ST8/10 adapter for Alpy 600

Mechanical adapter specially designed for mounting an Alpy spectroscope on a SBIG model ST CCD camera (ST7, ST8, ST10, ST2000).

The mechanical backfocus of SBIG cameras (ST7, ST8, ST10, ST2000) is too large for mounting on an Alpy 600. This flange allows these cameras to be mounted on the Alpy 600. You’ll need to remove your camera’s front plate, and replace it with this flange.

Caution: The Alpy’s lens comes very close to the CCD camera’s window, so this adapter must be used with care when focusing the spectrum to avoid the two optics touching.
