Sol’Ex / SUNSCAN 2-position slit 7 – 10 µm (GEN2)

Two parallel slits instead of one, one 10 µm wide, the other 7 µm. The latter is designed for high-precision applications, such as magnetic field measurement.

This is a “second generation” (GEN2) slit, released in November 2024.

Le support est un verre spécial (Eagle XG), résistant à la chaleur avec une excellente transmission sur un très large domaine de longueur d’onde (350 à 1000 nm). La face opposée à la fente est traitée antireflet.

The substrate is a special, heat-resistant glass (Eagle XG) with excellent transmission over a very wide wavelength range (350 to 1000 nm). The side opposite the slit is anti-reflective.

The glass blade is 12 x 8 mm. It is 2 mm thick, making it relatively robust and easy to clean on both sides (with absorbent cotton and water).

Compatible with Sol’Ex and SUNSCAN instruments. Of course, you can also use it for your own projects.
