By Olivier Garde The Calern plateau, near Nice, is a site of the Observatoire de la Côte d'Azur, which is home to, among other things, the C2PU (Centre Pédagogique Planète et Univers) with 2 twin 1m-diameter telescopes. Every year since 2017, with the 2SPOT team, I've...
Whoppshel Spectroscope
The Whoppshel is the ultimate spectroscope in the Shelyak range. A very high resolution instrument (R >25.OOO), it is intended for large instruments (telescopes over 700mm in diameter). A fibre-optic ladder spectro, it is particularly suitable for “exoplanet hunting”.
